Career details:

Just  a handful of people can truly be said to personify the team spirit, sense of history and honour encompassed in a long playing and administrative association with first class rugby.

In Administration, John established a record for Committee service to the Club, with a very long stint as Honorary Fixture Secretary. He became a founder member of the Senior Club’s Association and had the respect of senior rugby officials nation-wide. In 1985/87 he was honoured with Bath Club Presidency.

He was later to be elevated to Life Membership of Bath F.C. and almost inevitably, the Old Players Association were later to honour him as their President.

Father of Jonathan who also played for the club.
