Career details:

Richard Siveter was a prop forward who made little impact in his time at the Recreation Ground after signing for the club from the Bath Rugby Academy structure. In his defence, the youngster faced some stiff competition in the form of Dave Hilton, Chris Horsman, Victor Ubogu, Kevin Yates and John Mallett in the front row department. It was little surprise therefore that he felt that to guarantee 1st XV action he would have to look elsewhere at the end of the 1997/1998 season and to that end he signed for Bristol. . Latterly the combative front row man made a return to the Rec. in 2001 in Bristol colours for the de Glanville/Adebayo testimonial and was later spotted playing league rugby for Coventry in the National League.
