EXTRACTS OF MEETINGS IN 1899HELD AT 4 BATH STREET

JANUARY 2ND 1899 815PM

Present   Messers W SANTS A.F FLORIAN, W.D.DAVIS, J.R.DAWSON, J.T.PIPER.

Minutes of last meeting confirmed

It was then proposed by Mr Florrian & seconded by Mr Dawson that A.E Fry be paid £1.11 compensation for his accident less his subscription as per resolution.

Mr Sants proposed & seconded by Mr Davis that the Hon Sec to be instructed to write to Somerset Hon Sec asking for information of what to do regarding Treorchy R.F.U who cancelled their match on Dec 26^th 1898.

A Sub-committee was then formed on the proposal of Mr Florrian which was seconded by Mr Piper consisting of W. Sants, F. Soane, J.R Dawson as soon as the reply of the county was received.

Hon Treasurer was requested to pay Mr J Hathaway 13/10 for expenses while travelling to Chippenham.

Hon Treasurer was requested to pay Messers Osman & Chesterman 2/6 each for Postman at $ Bath St as a Xmas box.

The Vice Chairman expressed the regret of himself also his colleagues on the committee at the continued illness of the Chairman Mr J. E. Henshaw and the Hon Sec was requested to write to him Mr Henshaw. The Hon Sec sent the following solution that the Executive Committee of Bath F.C desire to express their deep and sincere regret at the continual illness of their Chairman and wish to take this opportunity of hoping that he will speedily be restored to his usual health so as to enable him to resume his place as chairman of the executive committee where i need not say his absence and courtesy has been terribly missed but also be enabled to take his place on the council.
