At the age of 18, one of the founding members of the Bath Football Club in 1865 and a central figure in the history of the Club.

His interview with “Bohemian” of the Bath Herald in 1921 gives a major incite into the founding and development of the Club in it’s early years as well as providing the names of some of the first Bath players and an incite into the playing rules and onditions of the day
