by Geoff Pillinger
After the Lemons

This is the second part of a two volume official history of Bath rugby, a sequel to “Before the Lemons” (A History of Bath Football Club (RFU) 1865-1965)

It was researched, collated and published by Peter Hall, Colin Gale and Kevin Coughlan in an attempt to ensure that the rich history of the Bath Club was recorded and was not forgotten or lost with the lapse of time, Their dedication to the Bath Club and their determination to record the history of the Club should not be underestimated. The book is the culmination of many years of active research and is a fitting tribute to their efforts to ensure that the Bath Club stays firmly on the rugby map

This book covers the period from 1965 to the start of the professional era in 1996 and is the culmination of many arduous hours of searching for information and photographs which adequately tell the story of the Club, its development and the unequalled success itĀ achieved during this period

It is a must read for all Bath Rugby supporters and will be of interest to anyone with an interest in Rugby Union and the build up towards the introduction of professionalism
