Captain S.L. Amor O.B.E.

Chairman 1938-1940 and 1945-1946

Better known for having played cricket and hockey (at the age of 15 years) for Somerset. He played for the County from 1908 to 1930.  Was a long time member and captain of Bath Cricket Club for whom he kept wicket. Not known to have played rugby.

He was, at some time, the Chairman of Wessex Associated Newspaper group.
