Career details:

Hooker Joe Clark had the briefest of Bath Rugby careers turning out for the club on only one occasion in the professional era and that as a replacement. Joe replaced Rich Bryan in the 26-16 win over the Army on the 25th March 1997, coming on in the unaccustomed position of flanker. Signed from Bristol, Joe joined Bath’s Academy after previously studying at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham. He went on to gain international recognition with England Colts and England under-21 (after playing for the South West at the same age group) and stood 5 foot 10” and weighed in at 14 stone, 8lbs. After leaving Bath Joe had stints with Leeds, Fylde, Moseley, Bristol and Sale making his Sharks debut in September 1999.
