Career details:

The September 1999 fixture between Bath and Harlequins marked the debut of prop forward Matt Filipo. Matt, who was on loan from Fylde during the World Cup, made three replacement appearances for Bath after the 30pts-10pts win at the Stoop where he came on for Chris Horsman, before re-joining Fylde. His other appearances were in a home win over Northampton Saints and an away defeat to Sale Sharks. On each occasion he replaced Horsman. Matt has also represented Bridgend, and Counties Manukau (New Zealand).
