24/4/1943. Announcement that Lieut. Geoffrey Foster, R.T.R., R.A.C., the Bath and Somerset three-quarter had been awarded the Military Cross for gallant and distinguished service in the Middle East. He was in the 8th Army with his brother Peter, and was the son of Mr. A H Foster, the ladies’ outfitter, of Bath. Both sons were products of K.E.S. Bath.
