Born: Cirencester on 29th November, 1899.

Final game: 4th October 1924 v Plymouth Albion

Career details: Joined the Royal Flying Corps in 1917 and spent a year in Egypt. He gained his wings during his cadetship. He was demobilised in April 1919 but in August 1920 he joined the then Air Force. He played regularly for his unit and eventually represented the RAF 1st XV. He was a strong and resolute runner who was difficult to stop.

Sergeant Instructor at Netheravon for much of the time he represented Bath.
