Dr Ian came to Bath after the 2^nd World War having previously played for the Watsonians

A brilliant Fly Half he, together with T R (Roy) Harris, made 1946/47 one of Bath’s best seasons.

Was a first class  cricketer playing for Scotland and the Combined Services.
