A little known scrum half who was with Bath Rugby’s Academy set up at the start of the 1999/2000 season, Ryan Pretorius only made one replacement appearance for the club, coming on at scrum half for Gareth Cooper, against Saracens, in Martin Haag’s Testimonial match at the Rec. The game ended in a 7-42 defeat for Bath and Ryan, despite regular outings in the under-21 side did not play in the 1stXV again.
