Brother of Full back/wing Rob, Paul made only one appearance in the Bath Rugby colours, starting the Phil de Glanville and Adedayo Adebayo Testimonial match with local rivals the Bristol Shoguns. His pace, sleight of hand and tactical brain were very much in evidence that evening as he crossed for a brace of well-taken tries and added one conversion to finish with a tally of twelve points. Despite this, he never had the chance to establish himself in the Bath Rugby squad and returned to his home of Cornwall where he starred for Redruth, for whom Rob also appeared earlier in his career. As with his brother, Paul was an adept Sevens player and starred for Somerset in the Tetley’s County Championship Sevens at Twickenham that they won in 2003.
