Gary Gold

Coaching Career: Initially Gary was Forwards Coach at London Irish later becoming Head Coach when Brendan Venter returned to South Africa. His tenure last for three seasons until 2004 when he himself returned to South Africa as Forwards Coach at Western Province subsequently being appointed as Head Coach. Between 2008 and the end of the 2010-2011 season he was the Assistant Coach of the Springboks. In January of 2012 he took over as Head Coach at Newcastle Falcons but by May of that year he had become Head Coach at Bath finally becoming Director of Rugby when Mike Ford became Head Coach. In 2014 Gary was Head Coach at Natal Sharks. By 2017 he took over as Director of Rugby at Worcester Warriors. In October 2017 it was announced that Gary would see out his 1 year contract but would then join USA Rugby as Head Coach of the National Team.
